MIDDLE SCHOOL GRADES 7-8
The Middle School will be engaging in their P3 activities throughout the year. The major focus will be on helping others and learning from them in order to better society and themselves as they care to share.
HIGH SCHOOL GRADES 9-10
As new program introduced this year, Global Perspectives is a Cambridge course that focuses on investigating global issues and how they impact our world, our community, and our family.
JR. COLLEGE GRADES 11-12
Students are required to complete the Creativity, Action, and Service component of the program in order to be eligible to gain the IB Diploma. CAS is fundamental for independent responsibility.
Parents, please support the School and your children as they are engaged in the MNIS Community Service Program, as it fulfills our School’s Mission to develop responsible world citizens with a Christian worldview
Respect - everybody wants it. Responsibility - everybody wants to get out of it. But as we have all probably seen, the most respected people are the most responsible ones. You don't really respect your classmate that never passes their work in on time or only does enough to get by or always tries to be funny no matter how inappropriate. You might think they’re cool, but you don't honestly respect them. People that are responsible [they know what they have to do and they do it] are naturally respected. If you want respect from your friends - be a responsible person. If you want respect from your teachers - be a responsible student. If you want respect from your parents - be a responsible son/daughter. If you want respect from God - be responsible to His Word. In other words, no one respects irresponsible people. The sooner you take responsibility for your life, the sooner the people around you will respect you.
Ms. Andrea
English & Science, Grades 1-2
Ms. Andrea is from Washington, USA. She lived in Bandung for 9 nine years (98-07) and taught at BAIS. She’s happy to be back in Indonesia where she can get sate kambing and a cream bath. She thinks the kids here at MNIS are sweet, joyful, and friendly.
Ms. Deiby
Bahasa Indonesia, Grades 7-9
Ms. Deiby is a true Bandungite but lived most of her life in Jakarta. She’s very excited about working here at MNIS where she finds the teaching staff very supportive and positive. Ms. Deiby loves to read and play the piano. Maybe she can give us concert!
Anastasya; Grade 4
Tasha came to MNIS from Lab School in UNAI. She spent her vacation resting and preparing for her new school. She lives in Cirebon and it only takes her 15 minutes to get to school. She has four hamsters at home and zero elephants. And she loves to draw.
Audrey; Grade 10
Before coming to MNIS, Audrey attended BAIS for nine years. Because she wants to study internationally, she moved to MNIS to take the IB Diploma Program. So far, she likes the teachers here because they’re so laid back. She loves art, so we’re hoping so see some cool work this year
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!
There are many ways of commitment: you can come and volunteer whenever you have time or you can be an active member that helps organize and implements. We need both!
P.I.E. is a great way to get to know other parents, and it is a fun way to be involved in your child’s education. We look forward to hearing from you!
